This 1991 King Silver Flair trumpet in excellent condition. The silver-plated finish is in great condition, with only light signs of careful use consistent with the instrument's age.
The Silver Flair is regarded as one of King's finest professional models, prized for its lively response, brilliant tone and effortless projection. Built during the golden era of American trumpet manufacturing, these instruments have become sought after by players looking for the distinctive King sound and feel.
This trumpet has been fully serviced here at DBR in preparation for sale. As part of the service, the missing third valve tuning slide was replaced with an original King part. We also adjusted the rod style slide stop to a screw style for ease of use. The valves are smooth and responsive, all slides move freely, and the instrument is ready for many more years of playing.
