Yamaha YHR-667D French Horn - USED - $6500
The Yamaha YHR-667D is a Geyer wrap professional series horn produced from 1885 until 2015. A deservedly popular horn known for its projection and ease of play.
This one-owner YHR-667D dates from the 1990s. It is in remarkably nice condition for an instrument approaching 30 years of age. Having not been used much in the past two decades, it was, however, carefully maintained. This horn has no dent repair marks and the lacquer is in generally good condition though aged. There are a couple solder joints that were expertly repaired in the past by Mal Pearce.
The horn comes with a "Brasswind" (Cronkhite) gig big and mouthpiece.
