Here's a chance to own a trumpet not often seen in Australia: This beautiful Bach trumpet is in near mint condition, the only visible sign this trumpet is used is from a bit of lacquer wear on the valve casing. Otherwise ther is not a scratch on it. Professionally owned and played. This trumpet has had a valve alignment by Bob Reeves of Los Angeles, a value itself of several hundred dollars. The case has never been used outside the owner's home and is in mint condition.
A tremendous bargain at this price as the Australian RRP for this trumpet new is $7829 without the Reeves alignment!
My friends at Dawkes in the UK have a great video about this trumpet here.
From the Bach website:
The LR19043B ushers in a new era in the world of Bach Stradivarius. This marks the first time that bronze material has been used in the production of one-piece hand-hammered professional Bach bells.
The LR19043B features a lightweight body and two-piece valve construction that provides a quick response. The open feel of the reverse construction #25LR mouthpipe combined with the new bronze material in the bell results in a very responsive, lively, yet full sounding instrument. The clear lacquer finish provides a subtle warmth to the overall sound. As beautiful to look at as it is to play, the LR19043B well suited for all types of music.
