Circa 1975 Bach 42, yellow brass bell with standard slide: Traditional wrap with updated Bach valve linkage. The bell is in beautiful condition and shows no signs of major damage or repair. The slide has seen better days but is functional. There are couple of patches, one on the upper slide near the crook covering a pin hole and one on the crook. The inner slide has wear on the chrome and has had dents removed. the entire instrument has been refinished at some point in the past and the lacquer is actually pretty good. This is a trombone with a lot of potential from the desirable early Elkhart years. A great first large bore trombone for a young player that can be upgraded in stages over time and as budget allows or is a good candidate for a new custom slide or open flow valve now. Comes with a Bam case.
