This lovely old rotary trumpet marked Raushmair, Stuttgart, is estimated to be between 90 and 100 years old. The raw, gold brass provides a beautiful, rich, dark tone. The valves are surprisingly good and tight and the original valve mechanisms work well without excessive noise or looseness. The fingers buttons sit low, close to the tube, but seems originally designed this way and is comfortable, though you will need to play on your finger tips.
A great horn for a collector, someone looking for something a bit different or a player wanting to get their first rotary trumpet.
