Incentive Spirometer
This device is used to help wind and brass players improve their breathing by working to achieve goals. This device features at it's heart a plastic marble in a tube. The user's goal is to raise the marble to the top of the tube on each inhaled breath. Designed for inhalation, unit can then be flipped over and used for exhalation as well. A valve allows to user to lower resistance and increase the challenge of hitting the top of the tube. The Incentive Spirometer can also be used in conjunction with instrument mouthpiece practice (best fits low brass instruments). Includes the unit, a flexible tube and removable plastic mouthpiece.
