This trumpet has had a very easy life and is in remarkable condition. Made circa 1985, bought at Giardinelli in NY City - the shop sticker is still in the case. No dents. Lacquer 95% or better. Like all Getzens, the valves are gorgeous. Comes with trumpet shank lead pipes in Bb and A (I believe cornet shank leadpipes are still available for this instrument from Getzen).
The Eterna 940 (short model) Piccolo has been in the Getzen line for many years. It offers a free-blowing feel with excellent intonation. The piccolo trumpet is regarded as a dependable tool for Baroque literature and specialty music.
